With using cost and profit centers you you can organize your incoming and outgoing invoices into groups. When you create an incoming invoice, you can specify to which cost center you want to add the invoice. To create a totally new cost center, type the full name of the cost center. If you want to select an already existing cost center, start typing the cost center name and, the system will automatically display the cost centers that match the initials - or if you switch to “drop-down” mode, the text field will become easily selected.
Profit centers are the incoming side pairs of cost centers. You can specify these when issuing outgoing invoices, on similar way as cost centers.
You can also filter by existing cost centers and profit centers by clicking the "More Options" button in the account list.
