Views and "Filter by Users"

Views

The Worktime module supports three types of views. We can switch between them with the buttons in the action bar above (Overview, Partners, Projects).

  • Overview View: The default view of the Worktime module. Here, you can see the recorded time sheets, broken down by week, arranged in rows according to users. With simple user authorization, the user can only see himself. As the authorization level increases, you can see even more users. In all cases, the current week is displayed, which can be changed using the gray forward and backward arrows in the upper right corner or the calendar icon. The view also shows the daily and weekly summaries per user. If the user's salary is also entered on the user's data sheet in the Users and Settings module, the system also calculates the user's salary in the given period based on the number of hours of the approved working hours in the overview view. This will be displayed under the user's name. In the same place, you can also see how much time the user recorded against the weekly working time frame, if the working time frame for the days of the week was originally filled in on the user's data sheet.

  • Contacts view: For each contact, you can see how many working hours have been recorded for the given partner by the company's users. By clicking on the registered time expenditure, the recorded working hours are already displayed per user. By default, the current week is displayed, which can be changed using the gray forward and backward arrows in the upper right corner or the calendar icon. You can see the total daily working time and the weekly total working time per contact.

  • Projects view: In this view, Project-related time expenditures are displayed in alphabetical order for each project. For each project, you can see how many working hours were recorded by the company's users for the given project. By clicking on the registered time expenditure, the recorded working hours are already displayed per user. By default, the current week is displayed, which can be changed using the gray forward and backward arrows in the upper right corner or the calendar icon. You can see the total daily working time and the total weekly working time per project.

Filter by users

The filter is located in the module, next to the views, on the right side of the action bar. The filter contains a drop-down list containing all users of the account as well as user groups. By selecting the given user and scrolling through the dates, all recordings of the user for the given week can be viewed.
